Applications must include a synopsis, proposal, resume, and numerous other documents. Photographers and visual journalists from any country may apply.

Description

The Alexia Foundation provides grants and prizes to photography students and professional journalists, awarding over $1,000,000 since its inception in 1991. Prizes are given for achievements in photography, such as through the annual World Press Photo Award or Pictures of the Year award. Grants are also given for those with distinguished work, such as through the Canon Female Photojournalist Award.
