Guidelines of assistance

Applicants must be U.S. citizens creating art that engages with a public interest issue. The foundation also gives special consideration to communities and school districts that are underserved by the arts.

Description

The Puffin Foundation offers grants to artists who are U.S. citizens creating works that inform the public on important issues like the environment or civil rights. The selection committee especially takes into consideration how well-established an artist already is in his or her field and how much money is being requested.
