Eligibility: documented employment (liner note credits, copies of contracts, check stubs, brochures, flyers, newspaper articles) in music industry for at least five years or credited contribution to six commercially released recordings or videos.

MusiCares provides a safety net to Ameican musicians in times of need. Assistance is given in times of financial, medical, and personal emergencies. The website also harbors a database with links to addiction resources and relief organizations.
