Guidelines of assistance
To be eligible for SSP services the client should be a refugee or humanitarian visa holder or a newly arrived migrant on a family visa with low English proficiency. Clients accessing SSP services have resided in Australia for less than five years.
Description
ACT's Migrant and Refugee Settlement Services (MARSS) provides settlement and resettlement services to migrants, refugees, and humanitarian entrants in the Australian Capital Territory. Hundreds of refugees have been settled through the program, which also provides education and sporting services, including for children.
