The KHRF screens films relating to topical human rights issues and hosts post-screening debates on those films in order to publicize their subject matter and to advocate for human rights.
Description
Initiated in 2010, the Karama Human Rights Festival advocates for human rights and encourages debate, critical thinking, and civil engagement through the screening of human rights films, their post-screening, and debates. The festival also features musical concerts, theater performances, poetry readings, and visual art exhibitions that deal with human rights issues.
