Guidelines of assistance
JED pays close attention to regional cases of threats to media freedom where journalists are killed, missing, imprisoned, arrested, injured, threatened, or denied information.
Description
A member of IREX and RSF, JED promotes freedom of media and journalism. It carries out monitoring and reporting, lobbying, legal defense, and training for media professionalism. Emergency funds are provided in some cases.
