IPC's tools and resources aim to assist the development and preservation of the Nigerian media.
Description
IPC’s mission derives from the need to strengthen the media and journalists in fulfilling their traditional and constitutional obligations of monitoring governance, serving as the society’s watchdog, and promoting democratic values. IPC offers training for reporters and editors, performs legal advocacy and campaigning for free press issues, engages in media monitoring and evaluation, and provides media and academic researchers with resources on national, regional, and international issues.
