Guidelines of assistance
GHRC’s Human Rights Advocates Fund provides emergency support for HRDs in Guatemala who have been threatened or attacked and need to relocate or take other steps to improve their security.
Description
The Guatemala Human Rights Commission is committed to funding and protecting human rights defenders working in Guatemala. Emergency funds and support can be directed to activists who are directly threatened. Awards are also provided to those who have demonstrated dedication despite risks to their personal safety.
