Guidelines of assistance

The Ana Houna programme supports partner organisations in partners in Beirut, Duhok, and Istanbul and issues an open call for artists in exile. Beneficiaries are chosen by both Fanak and the host organisation. Support can include temporary accommodation, workspace, therapy, or funds to cover local transport. Artists can be hosted for 3 to 6 months.

Description

Fanak Fund was launched as an independent civil society initiative in June 2019 by a group of professionals working to promote art and culture in Europe, the Arab-speaking world, and the wider Middle East. Fanak Fund supports artists in exile near conflict zones through its programme Ana Houna, providing funds to organisations which help artists to reconnect with their peers and continue their art work.
