A team of professionals is assembled at the site of repression, detention, ill treatment, or torture. This type of urgency allows not only the reduction of trauma in the moment but also the prevention of an escalation of said psychological trauma.
Description
The Argentine Psychosocial Work and Research Team is a nonprofit composed of psychiatrists and psychologists. It provides free psychological counseling to people who have been affected by human rights violations.
