The EOHR issues urgent appeals, reports and press releases regarding human rights violations, and conducts fact-finding missions at sites of human rights abuses to collect testimonies to lobby on behalf of victims.
Description
EOHR is a nonprofit NGO working within the framework of the principles established in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other international human rights instruments regardless of the identity or affiliation of the victim(s) or violator(s). It acts against both governmental and non-governmental human rights violations. EOHR has a national membership of 2,300 and has 17 provincial branches located throughout Egypt.
