The DLDF exists to inform theater professionals and students about the fair practices that have evolved in the industry in order to protect their dramatic works. The organization provides legal support and a resource directory for reference.
Description
The Dramatists Legal Defense Fund is a nonprofit branch of the Dramatists Guild of America. On top of providing The Defender, a database to list dramatic works that have been challenged or censored in the USA, DLD also advocates on behalf of theaters, audiences, and all of those in the culture at large confronting censorship on stages across America.
