Global Resilience Grants
Resilience Grants provide short-term assistance to artists regarding career needs and opportunities. Grants can be used to cover the production of artistic projects and work-related expenses, including but not limited to art supplies, camera, and video equipment, building peer-to-peer professional networks, enrolling in classes or workshops, renting a studio space, funding for travel, cultural exchange, exhibitions, or work opportunities.
This rolling call for proposals aims to support small, discrete art projects and artistic programming in any field of the arts that will have a long-term effect on sustaining an artist’s practice and contributing to human rights and social justice.

Inclusivity
The Artist at Risk Connection (ARC) adopts a globally inclusive approach, supporting at-risk artists from diverse disciplines and regions across the world. This inclusivity is manifested in the comprehensive range of services ARC offers, such as legal aid, emergency and resilience grants, and fellowships that enable artists to continue their work under safer circumstances. ARC’s efforts are supported by a vast network of over 600 partners globally, including human rights organizations and arts groups, ensuring that assistance is targeted and adapted to the specific risks’ artists face, whether political, religious, commercial, or social. Moreover, ARC’s resources are available in multiple languages, including English, French, Spanish, Ukrainian, and Russian. The Arabic, Persian, and Hindi versions will be published soon. These further highlight ARC’s commitment to accessibility and support for artists across different linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
Capacity
Please note that ARC acts as a critical connector between artists and the organizations that offer direct support to help persecuted artists, including emergency and resilience funding and legal and relocation assistance. Given our team’s limited capacity, we can only assist artists who have been threatened directly due to their creative work.
Confidentiality
Your information will be treated as highly confidential and will only be shared with your explicit consent. However, please be aware that ARC is mainly a referral organization and connector. To be able to offer you robust assistance, we will need your permission to share details about your situation with our trusted partners.
