Unexplored Opportunities & Possibilities for Zimbabwe’s Creative Industries

Sam Brakarsh, ARC’s Africa Representative, joins a panel discussion with decorated Zimbabwean musician Willis Wataffi, film producer Joe Njagu, comedian Nigel Maritinyu, and CEO of the National Arts Council, Napoleon Nyanhi at the Amplifaya Creative Business Summit in Zimbabwe. Sam will share actionable insights on artistic rights and the importance of fostering regional solidarity to strengthen the creative ecosystem.

The summit-one of the largest gatherings of creative and culture professionals in the country-brought together artists, social enterprises, policy and business leaders to explore how to develop a national creative industry and offer critical insights to artists at all stages of their careers.
