Join ARC at Res Artis! On Saturday, September 7 at 13:45 – 15:15 attend the workshop facilitated by ARC Asia Regional Representative Manojna Yeluri. As concerns about censorship and persecution grow in Asia, many artists, practitioners, and curators are grappling with how to protect themselves and their creative endeavors in such challenging times. This workshop aims to address these concerns by providing a safe and supportive environment for discussions by using ARC’s Safety Guide for Artists as a springboard. We welcome artists, practitioners, and residency program curators who support at-risk artists to share their experiences and collaborate on strategies to safeguard artistic freedom. The 2024 Res Artis conference Interweave the Spectrum: Beyond Collaboration will revolve the conversation around collaboration, delving into deeper concepts of cross-disciplinary models, social engagement, capacity building and evaluation.
