France

19 November 2026
Saline Royale d’Arc-et-Senans
Arc-et-Senans, France

ARC – Artists at Risk Connection will moderate a roundtable of part of “Rencontres européennes” hosted by l’Association des Centres culturels de rencontre (ACCR) as part of the theme “La résidence d’artistes dans un monde conflictuel” in Arc-en-Senans, a program of conferences, performances, screenings, and debates held from 19 to 21 November.

Moderated by ARC Executive Director Julie Trébault, the roundtable, “The Future of Cultural Cooperation and the Role of Institutions in Supporting Open, Connected, and Resilient Cultural Ecosystems,” will explore how cultural institutions, organizations, and support programs can strengthen artistic mobility, international exchange, solidarity, and artistic freedom in a rapidly changing global environment.

Bringing together representatives of cultural institutions and international cooperation and support programs, the discussion will examine the challenges facing cultural ecosystems today and the role institutions can play in fostering collaboration, supporting artists and cultural professionals, and maintaining spaces for artistic exchange. Participants will also consider emerging opportunities for partnerships and collective action, reflecting on how cultural actors can work together to build more open, connected, and resilient cultural ecosystems in the years ahead.
