ARC – Artists at Risk Connection joins L’art en exil ? Accueillir, dialoguer, transmettre on November 30, 2026, at Chaillot – Théâtre national de la danse in Paris. Organized by the Fondation BNP Paribas and Synergies migrations in partnership with Chaillot, this sixth annual conference brings together artists, cultural institutions and civil society to explore the relationship between art and exile.
Julie Trébault, ARC’s Founder and Executive Director, will speak on the first panel, “L’accueil des artistes en exil, enjeux et apports réciproques” (Welcoming artists in exile: challenges and mutual contributions), from 3:00–4:00 p.m. CET. The discussion will examine how artists at risk can access protection and how host communities benefit from their work.
The afternoon also considers art as a means of rebuilding lives and creating dialogue, and its role in changing perceptions of migration. The program includes music, a literary reading and a dance performance, followed by a reception.
