Guidelines of assistance

The program is open to individual artists living in the South Arts region: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. This inaugural program is open only to visual artists.

Description

South Arts aims to build on the south's unique heritage by strengthening the region's artistic communities. The annual Southern Prize provides awards of $25,000 and $10,000 to individual artists living in the South Arts region. Conferences and grants are also available.
