Description
The Media Legal Defence Initiative provides legal defense to journalists, bloggers, and independent media across the world. MLDI aids those individuals dealing with legal crises through an emergency defense fund and engages in strategic litigation to challenge repressive laws and expand the space for media freedom. In countries where the threat of legal action is constant, MLDI funds local or national organizations doing similar work.
