Offers an Artist-in-Residence Program, a Parent Artist Residency Program for artists with children, and a Fellowship Program. The prices of the residencies vary by program and by duration of tenancy. Applications are taken three times per year.

Description

The Kala Art Institute is a studio and gallery in Berkeley that provides multiple residency and fellowship programs to artists who work in printmaking, photo-processes, book arts, and digital media. These programs provide participants with 24/7 access to the printmaking workshop and electric media center at the institute.
