Jazz Musicians Emergency Fund
Guidelines of assistance
The Housing and Emergency Assistance program focuses on a wide variety of crucial services from paying rent and mortgages and assisting with tenant and owner issues, to keeping the phone and electricity on, to ensuring food remains on the table.
Description
The Jazz Foundation of America works to keep jazz and blues alive by helping jazz musicians around the country. Through its Housing and Emergency Assistance program, JFA links musicians in need to social workers who can assist them. An emergency fund also helps pay bills for around 1,900 musicians throughout the year.
