Guidelines of assistance
Human Rights Defenders (including artists) who are in need of relocation can contact this organization. Together with Fundación Acceso, Hivos and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Shelter City in Costa Rica provides integral security (legal, physical, digital, and psycho-emotional) trainings for the HRDs to have the ability to continue their work in their respective countries.
Description
Fundacion Accesso works with Human Rights Defenders in Central America. In 2018, they joined the Shelter City network to provide support and protection to human rights defenders from the neighboring regions of Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, and Nicaragua.
