Five emerging artists and curators from around the world attend Altos de Chavón for 10 weeks, during which time they have the opportunity to engage with the Dominican cultural community as well as with artists in the greater Altos de Chavón area.
Description
The Davidoff Art Initiative primarily supports contemporary artists in the Caribbean, focusing particularly on those from the Dominican Republic. However, an international artist residency is open to applicants from around the world. DAI's grants program assists local cultural organizations and institutions in the Caribbean with small and medium-sized awards.
