DAKILA offers artists at risk and threatened artists assistance by helping them access timely legal support and also undertakes advocacy campaigns for them. DAKILA also regularly offers capacity building trainings on subjects such as physical safety, artist rights and digital security. They can be reached via their website and social media.

Description

DAKILA is Philippine Collective for Modern Heroism and a group of artists-activists building a movement of heroism towards social transformation. DAKILA is in the forefront of campaigns for Human Rights and Democracy in the Philippines. It has pioneered groundbreaking campaigns and advocacies on the promotion of human rights specifically on issues on the state-sponsored killings, press freedom, freedom of expression, shrinking civic spaces, disinformation, and authoritarianism.
