Rehabilitation services carried out by Helsinki Deaconess Institute is aimed at increasing tolerance of difference and promoting the equality of people from different cultural backgrounds.

Description

The Center for Torture Survivors in Finland creates outpatient wards for specialized psychiatric healthcare for refugees who have been tortured. Medical assessments for torture victims and asylum seekers are also provided for the Finnish government. The organization is nonreligious and nonpolitical by nature.
