Guidelines of assistance
Artists at Risk (AR) welcomes applications for their residencies from art-practitioners from all over the world. AR makes every effort to find translation for eligible applicants. Submissions are possible in all major languages.
Description
AR is an institution focused on human rights in relation to cultural practitioners, providing persecuted artists, writers, critics and scholars with residencies and professional support. This well-established program has been operating under various titles since 2013. It is co-organised in cooperation with HIAP – Helsinki International Artists Programme. It is supported by funding from the City of Helsinki Cultural Office.
