Producer, screenwriter, and film director. Graduated in 2002 from the International School of Film and Television of San Antonio de los Baños (EICTV) specializing in Production and a postgraduate degree in directing in 2015 at the Workshop in the New York Film Academy (NYFA) in the United States. Founder in 2006 of Cooperativa Producciones, a film development and production group, with which he has produced the first works of several Cuban directors. He has been responsible for many independent productions in Cuba that have won awards at the Latin American New Film Festival in Havana. His projects have been presented at distinguished international festivals in Germany, Amsterdam, Holland, Argentina, United States, and Spain. Since 2006 he has independently written and directed documentaries such as “Sexo, Historias y Cintas de video,” “Operación Alfa o lo que le pasó a Benito Manso,” “La singular historia de Juan sin nada,” “La teoria cubana de la sociedad perfecta,” “Rojo amarillo y verde,” and his latest short fiction film “El Encargado.”
