COVID-19 Resources for Artists

As the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic is disrupting all aspects of our daily life, the Artists at Risk Connection (ARC) is deeply aware of how the lives of artists, cultural professionals, arts organizations and institutions, and more are affected. Artists are losing income, museums are shuttering, residencies are going dark––but resources exist to help redress these challenges. Below, ARC has compiled a (growing) list of resources for artists and art-related professionals and organizations to find support in these trying times. These are primarily US-based resources; those seeking international opportunities should search ARC's database as well as the list compiled by On The Move and Circostrada. Artists seeking open calls and other opportunities can find some in ARC's Instagram stories and saved in our highlights. ARC particularly wishes to thank the Alliance of Artist Communities, the Andrew Mellon Foundation, On the Move, COVID-19 Freelance Artist Resources, and other partners for their meaningful work identifying resources and gathering information.

We encourage artists using this list to check the eligibility and criteria for any resources before applying, as they vary fund by fund.

This list will continue to grow and evolve as more resources become available. If you would like to send us additional resources, please contact arc@pen.org.
