At a time when many human rights organizations have been inundated with requests for assistance from at-risk artists from Ukraine and other parts of the world affected by humanitarian crises, ARC's director, Julie Trébault, will deliver a keynote speech on the need to create sustainable long-term support networks that meet the needs of artists and cultural professionals in times of war and crisis, and will also conduct safety training for artists at the 2022 Trans Europe Halles Conference.

During the conference, ARC will also conduct a Safety Training for Artists and Human Rights Defenders, which draws from ARC’s Safety Guide for Artists to help artists navigate and prepare for risk.
