Guidelines of assistance

The residency is available on a weekly or monthly basis between March and October of each year. Minimum stay is seven days at $400 per week, and the maximum stay is three months.

Description

Sunsiz Media provides a residency open to mid-career artists interested in contemporary art practice and writing. The residency is located in Lightning Ridge, New South Wales, a black opal-mining town in the outback. With its location "off the grid," Sunsiz utilizes solar energy for generating electricity and gas for generating heat.
