In response to this field-wide need, Doc Society has been working with experts to develop tools for both filmmakers and funders to help mitigate risks, be they digital, legal, journalistic, or related to safety and health.

The Doc Society (formerly known as BRITDOC Foundation) is a British non-profit organization, founded in 2005, with the mission to support great films, broker new partnerships, build new business models, share knowledge, and develop audiences globally. Doc Society believes documentaries have a unique ability to engage and connect people, transform communities, and improve societies.
