Guidelines of assistance
A $5,000 grant is given annually to a female photographer under the age of 30 to support the completion of a long-term documentary project. One awardee and up to two finalists are selected by a jury.
Description
The Inge Morath Foundation facilitated the study and appreciation of Morath’s contribution to photography. The foundation served as a public resource for the international community of scholars and curators, as well as general audiences interested in Morath’s work, and supported work in three program areas: Grants and Awards; Educational Programs; and Traveling Exhibitions. The research space closed down in 2014, and all ongoing activities of the Estate of Inge Morath were folded into the Legacy Program of the Magnum Foundation, New York.
