Guidelines of assistance

HRNJU helps equip regional journalists with resources and training. It offers free legal services to journalists and some members of the society for harassment, unlawful arrest and detention, intimidation, and persecution, among others.

Description

HRNJU works to empower journalists with capacity building and tools to campaign for human rights through reporting. Its main tasks include monitoring and reporting violations committed against journalists, offering legal support to reporters, providing medical and psychosocial support to journalists injured in the course of their reporting, and training.
