There are three sessions: mid-January to mid-April, June to mid-August, and early September to early December. The artist must make a $300 deposit. The organization provides lodging and studio space.

Description

The Helene Wurlitzer Foundation of New Mexico, established in 1954, is one of the oldest artist residence programs in the country. The residency is located in Taos, New Mexico, and provides three months of rent-free and utility-paid housing to grantees. The 11 houses are fully furnished, providing an opportunity for residents to work in a peaceful setting.
