Guidelines of assistance

Clinic sessions happen three to five times a year. Following a 20-minute presentation on best practices and practical steps for O-1 and EB-1A visas, participating artists are paired with an immigration attorney for an initial 20-minute consultation.

Description

The Center for Art Law is a New York-based research and education nonprofit that offers resources and programming for the advancement of a vibrant arts and law community. Through its programming, the Center brings together diverse groups of artists, lawyers, students, and other arts professionals. In particular, the Visual Artists' Immigration Clinic guides emerging visual artists through the process of obtaining a visa to the United States.
