Guidelines of assistance

Cartel Urbano offers advocacy and support to artists who are marginalized, threatened, or whose work is targeted and censored. On their social networks and website they also provide visibility and resources to artists affected by the current pandemic situation, offering ideas and support to make their work sustainable. The platform is also open to collaborate in artivist types of projects.

Description

Cartel Urbano is a platform that supports creators and highlights initiatives and stories that inhabit the fringes of culture. Articulating heterogeneous actors around independent projects their aim is strengthening the Colombian and Latin American creative and cultural sector. Through their varied initiatives Cartel Urbano seeks to support the construction of real democracy, freedom of expression, critical thinking, and cultural identity.
