Guidelines of assistance
Applications must be submitted to Access Arts at least six weeks before the desired start date of the residency. The ideal candidate should have an MFA, be pursuing such a degree, or able to demonstrate competency in a particular area of art.
Description
Access Arts offers classes in art media with an emphasis on supporting those with more limited means. Over 200 classes are scheduled weekly throughout the year in a range of media and are open to people of all ages, financial circumstances, ability levels, and ethnic backgrounds. It offers scholarships or fee subsidies for those otherwise unable to participate in this program.
